This blend rocks! Made to my own specifications. No two braids are alike. They are so much fun to spin. The fibers are soft and silky and drafts like a dream. For felters: Very fun and easy to felt with. Just open the fibers and let the wool do the rest. This colorway is darker than shown in the picture. This colorway is darker than shown in the picture. The reason is called Raven is because Ravens are black with blues and purplish reflections when they move their body, but when you put the wool under the light you can see shades of purple and some shiny blue from the silk. In the sunlight, it looks just like a raven's feather. Raven 4 oz 113 grams 85 % Merino 15 % Tussah Silk All my fiber comes from a smoke-free, pet-free environment. I store and send out my fibers with lavender sachets to keep pests away. Please let me know if you are allergic to lavender to avoid sending it to you.
