The end-grain has been sealed with wax. This species,Cinnamomum camphora has a Janka hardness around 1000. Therefore the wood has a strong aroma similar to the chest rubs and proper PPE should be used if sensitive to those products.

The end-grain has been sealed with wax. Burl blanks may contain bug holes, inclusions, voids, knots, wane, live edge, crazy grain, or small checks/ cracks. Defects may be present inside of the blank as well.
