Classic late 1970s to early 1980s crewel style. 100% crewel wool yarns. Designed by Catherine (Cathy) Alexander. Six-strand cotton embroidery floss. I opened for photos because I could see staining on the edge of the fabric where the plastic bag is open at top - I took pictures to show the stains (I did not attempt to treat).
