The stencil shown in the photo is the 4 x 4 inch size, the design is approximately 3.5 x 3.25 inches (height & width). The outer perimeter of the stencil measures 4 x 4 inches (height & width) leaving a space between the design and outer edge of the stencil. The additional stencil sizes use the same format with the sizing scaled up accordingly. Example: the 6 x 6 inch stencil will have the design starting at approximately 4 to 5 inches. Please message for additional sizing details or if a custom size is needed. We recommend soaking the stencils in water with a small amount of dish soap after application, then rinsing thoroughly. A natural citrus cleaner works well on heavy paint build up. With proper care, mylar stencils will last for years depending on usage. Our stencils are made with food safe 10 mil mylar material. The mylar type is semi translucent. Mylar stencils are reusable, flexible, and durable. Mylar stencils can be used in many applications such as painting, crafts, decoration, fabric painting, airbrushing, baking, art application and more. Discoloration or mylar residue from the manufacturing process is normal.
